Wellness and Recreation Services with ALOHA

Welcome, friends! I'm glad you're here.

Southern Bloom Therapeutics was born as a thoughtful response to the needs I saw in my community around Austin, Texas. It is my deep pleasure to facilitate joy, healing, and growth through recreation and wellness practices.

mission

Love others through service and ALOHA

"Aloha" means mutual regard and affection and extends warmth in caring with no obligation in return. "Aloha" is the essence of relationships in which each person is important to every other person for collective existence. "Aloha" means to hear what is not said, to see what cannot be seen and to know the unknowable.

Akahai - kindness expressed with tenderness

Lokahi - unity expressed with harmony

‘Olu’olu - agreeable expressed with pleasantness

Ha’aha’a - humility expressed with modesty

Ahonui - patience expressed with perseverance

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails.

ALOHA never fails.

About

My name is kristin nagashima

After careful thought and prayer I started SBT as a practical way to love others through service and ALOHA.

For ten years I served as CH47 helicopter mechanic for the US Army and a civilian submarine mechanic for the US Navy. For much of that time I lived in Hawai'i, where I experienced the aloha spirit. I try to carry it with me wherever I go. I have a deep respect for those who serve and I feel my best when I'm working with my hands in service to others.

SBT is my way of giving back and growing into the way God has gifted me. Thank you for being a part of my journey. ALOHA
